![]() Ting has agreed to resubmit the problem to Sprint. Your post here will help reinforce that fact. I didn't agree and I think I've convinced Ting it's not the phone. Unfortunately, Sprint has found nothing wrong with the network and returned the trouble ticket to Ting with instructions to factory reset the phone and if that doesn't work, then to return the phone. Ting's Taylor Caldwell took over my trouble ticket and has been working with Sprint to resolve the issue. I have no issues with the Nexus 5 on my account. ![]() It will not activate on a pure LTE connection or a 1x connection. During one of those attempts, I received another strong 3G signal that lasted only about 20 seconds before I lost it and never got it back.Īnother symptom is that without 3G data, my phone requires a Wi-Fi signal to activate. and kept trying carrier resets and/or profile (data config) updates when connected to different towers. I was traveling on vacation last week in the eastern part of the U.S. They thought the problem had been resolved but then we lost the connection and couldn't get it back. They turned off Automatic Restore in backup settings before we started and as soon as the phone activated, I had a strong 3G for just about a minute. Motorola's Level 2 tech support had me do a factory reset while they were remotely connected to the phone. I posted on the XDA Developers forum about this issue and one other user in India reported a similar problem with Vodafone. If I am in an area without LTE, the phone works fine for voice, text and 1x data (very very slow) but no 3G data. However, sometimes it reports it as "inactive". #Moto x pure music player local no data needed pro#If I set my phone on 3G, I get no data and most of the time my SignalCheck Pro app reports the connection as "unregistered".
